This top portion will always say the same thing. The Quick Update section is what’s really being updated with new content.

This is my way of keeping myself organized. I’ll be limiting myself to 5 anime at a time. I can’t start a new one until I’ve finished at least one of the five on this ever changing list. When I finish one I’ll make a post about it, though depending on how long the series is, I might make a post in the middle of the series.

I’ll be keeping track of each anime and the episode I’m on both on this blog and on MyAnimeList (MAL). Below, there’s a link to MAL so you can look at all the things I’m currently watching, have watched, plan on watching and how I ranked each anime.

I don’t want to watch only recent series, so at least one or two of these entries will be about some throwback series. The rest will  be relatively recent (let’s say released in the last 3 years).

Quick Update:

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I wasn’t able to watch as much as I wanted to, but I plan on finishing at least one of these series this week, so I can start on the review for it. Plus the 3rd season of Haikyuu!! came out and I need to watch that….. I’m obsessed with that show! It’s so good!!!!! See, I’m actually following my own rule of only watching 5 anime at a time. I could totally cheat and watch Haikyuu!! anyway but I don’t want to lie to you guys. (I’m always honest ;P …..now that was a lie)

Kuroko no Basket (Season 1)

I’m liking this anime so far. I like sports anime for the most part, so I’m enjoying the over-exaggeration this anime does when it comes to simple basketball skills. I’m waiting to see if Tetsuya ever stops sucking at playing basketball overall. You can’t just rely on one skill forever, you should be decent at the other skills in the game and master at least one of them.

Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash

Only two episodes in but that’s enough for me to at least say something about what I’ve seen. I love the mystery! It’s keeping me interested in the story even though just the art would be enough. I like the realism they show with trying to kill such low level monsters. I like how it’s not just a quick slash and the goblin is dead. They show the physical and mental struggle behind it and it’s fantastic. Such a pretty show.
