This top portion will always say the same thing. The Quick Update section is what’s really being updated with new content.

This is my way of keeping myself organized. I’ll be limiting myself to 5 anime at a time. I can’t start a new one until I’ve finished at least one of the five on this ever changing list. When I finish one I’ll make a post about it, though depending on how long the series is, I might make a post in the middle of the series.

I’ll be keeping track of each anime and the episode I’m on both on this blog and on MyAnimeList (MAL). Below, there’s a link to MAL so you can look at all the things I’m currently watching, have watched, plan on watching and how I ranked each anime.

I don’t want to watch only recent series, so at least one or two of these entries will be about some throwback series. The rest will  be relatively recent (let’s say released in the last 3 years).

Quick Update:

So I finished one. I promised you all I would finish at least one and I did (hold your applause). I’m going to try to spread my attention to the other anime I haven’t progressed in at all these past few weeks.

Kuroku no Basket (Season 1)

At first I was getting nervous because this anime wasn’t holding my attention like other sports anime have in the past, but when they finally started playing in games I got super interested again. I know they needed to setup the characters and their struggles and all that loveliness, but it dragged on a little bit for me. I think it had to do with the main character himself being a little….. I don’t know…. bland. Even so, I was able to push through this series with very little breaks once the action started. I don’t want to go into to much detail, because I’m saving that for the review, which you can now read here!

Haikyuu!! (Season 3)

I’ve been waiting and waiting for this freaking anime to come out, because let me tell you, I watched the first two seasons in like….. 3 days. Once I started this show, I couldn’t stop. I took breaks to go sleep and that was only because I was so tired I couldn’t understand the subtitles. I’ll probably zip through this one quite quickly. Plus…..there only 4 episodes out right now soooo…… not too hard. Unlike trying to finish whole seasons of anime in a week. It’s easy to do if you only have one series to focused on (as opposed to, say, five >.>).

91 Days

I literally had no idea what I was getting into when I started this one. Didn’t now what it was about, or any central themes, or even if it was well liked. Honestly, I don’t even know what made me start this one. I mean, I was looking for an adultish anime and this looked mature enough. Now that I’ve seen just the beginning of this anime….. holy crap. This is great! It kind of reminds me of Monster mixed with Baccano, it has that same underlying feeling. Before the first half of the anime ended I thought it was going to be a revenge story. Or it might be more psychological…(I’m basing that solely on the creepy smile the main character had at the beginning of the show). Okay, the only thing I know for sure is this is a mafia anime set in the prohibition era (what fun).
