This top portion will always say the same thing. The Quick Update section is what’s really being updated with new content.

This is my way of keeping myself organized. I’ll be limiting myself to 5 anime at a time. I can’t start a new one until I’ve finished at least one of the five on this ever changing list. When I finish one I’ll make a post about it, though depending on how long the series is, I might make a post in the middle of the series.

I’ll be keeping track of each anime and the episode I’m on both on this blog and on MyAnimeList (MAL). Below, there’s a link to MAL so you can look at all the things I’m currently watching, have watched, plan on watching and how I ranked each anime.

I don’t want to watch only recent series, so at least one or two of these entries will be about some throwback series. The rest will  be relatively recent (let’s say released in the last 3 years).

Quick Update:

Obviously, as you can tell I didn’t really get through any of the anime that I wanted to this week. I don’t have an excuse for this one. It’s just the way it is. This weekend…..I don’t know….I’ll be entertaining so we will see how much I can get through by Monday. Hopefully a lot. Fingers crossed. But I did finish the stupidly long review of Kuroko no Basket so please check it out! I haven’t written this much since college….

Haikyuu!! (Season 3)

Okay, this will be short because it was only one episode. One fantastic episode. I was getting nervous when they didn’t have enough of a point lead. I also would have been concerned if they had a large point lead too…..the other team is too good for that to happen. I need that lizard guy to go away….I hate him!
After this game I expect everyone to be so good at volleyball. I feel like everyone has matured so much in these last 6 episodes. Actually, that makes me think of a theory. I think they stretched out this game into a whole season so that in the 4th season when everyone is significantly better the audience won’t question how it happened because they will think they gained all these skill over the third season. But the entirety of the third season took place over about 2 hours in their world. That felt like a lifetime for us. What is the purpose of doing this over just making the 3rd season take place over a long period of time? Who knows. Maybe the director just wanted to see if he could take a single game of volleyball and have it span over a whole freaking season. Which is really impressive. And they kept it interesting.

Sailor Moon SuperS

I really don’t have anything to say about this one. The episodes usually play out the same way with very little progression in the plot (kind of like Detective Conan). Actually I never told you why I’m watching such an old series.

Well, I wanted to re-watch all of Sailor Moon (movies included) in order dubbed and then re-watch the whole thing in Japanese and compare the changes. I’ve read that there were a lot of changes when it got dubbed so I just want to see for myself. It’s like a mini personal project (It’s on its second year).
