This top portion will always say the same thing. The Quick Update section is what’s really being updated with new content.

This is my way of keeping myself organized. I’ll be limiting myself to 5 anime at a time. I can’t start a new one until I’ve finished at least one of the five on this ever changing list. When I finish one I’ll make a post about it, though depending on how long the series is, I might make a post in the middle of the series.

I’ll be keeping track of each anime and the episode I’m on both on this blog and on MyAnimeList (MAL). Below, there’s a link to MAL so you can look at all the things I’m currently watching, have watched, plan on watching and how I ranked each anime.

I don’t want to watch only recent series, so at least one or two of these entries will be about some throwback series. The rest will  be relatively recent (let’s say released in the last 3 years).

WARNING: Due to the content of some of the anime I am currently watching, this post might not be suitable for all ages. If you continue to read on, you are doing so at the risk of tainting your mind (which, once again, is not my fault).

Quick Update:

The holidays are coming up soon, which means I might not be as active (yeah I know, you didn’t think  I could be any less active than I am now). I’m not promising to get anything done besides this post, and who knows how much anime I’ll be able to watch during the holidays. I’m hoping that I’ll get a descent chunk done this week, but that’s being very optimistic. I haven’t forgotten about the other article that I’m supposed to be working nor have I forgotten about the two reviews (Haikyuu and Boku no Hero Academia). Those are constantly being worked on and will be up… whenever I finish them. Haikyuu might take longer than most because I’ll be review all 3 seasons, which means I need to go back and rewatch some parts of the earlier seasons because… I’ve kind forgotten a lot of details. I honestly couldn’t tell you which teams they met in which season. I think Boku no Hero Academia will probably be out way before Haikyuu. Just in case I don’t post before Christmas, Merry Christmas and Happy New Years! 😛

P.S. You like the anime I picked? *smile nudge nudge* I love me some Hellsing art….so beautiful

Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash

At the beginning of this episode, I was getting really pissed about everyone’s attitude towards Manato’s death. The person who irritated me the worst was Ranta, as he proceeded to blame everybody. I don’t like when his type of characters get upset. They become too irrational and emotional and say the worst things. Contrary to how the beginning started, there was some more “platonic” love at the end. There were some characters getting along……xoxoxo (We all know what it would have lead up to…. ;P) If another two male and female characters get cozy I’m just going to start to think they will pair everyone off now that the group has an even number of boys and girls, although I don’t know who they would pair Merry up with. I don’t know how they expect to get her to work better with them. She seems like a no-nonsense person, while their group literally goes around screwing up all the time. They’re going to have to be more organized for this to work. I think she’ll be the reason they become a better group, they needed someone like her. Sorry Manato, but in order for everyone else to grow more efficiently you had to die.

Yuri!!! on Ice

I’m happy to see all the time they put into drawing the muscles out on these characters while continuously putting them in homoerotic situations. I’m enjoying it more than I should be. I don’t understand why Yuuri gets embarrassed while looking at another man’s naked body. Come on dude, you’ve seen all that stuff before and this definitely won’t be the last time either. I know there are going to be a lot more times where the characters all get to admire each other’s junk. They’re staying at an onsen, for Christ’s sakes. If there aren’t more scenes like that then this anime is not fully utilizing its setting. On another note, I’m glad Yuuri realizes the mediocrity of his ice skating career so far. Hopefully, this will be enough to push him into being a better skater. Actually, he’s already become a better skater, I’m just not used to characters with his personality realizing it themselves. Good for you, Yuuri. Changing up the weak protagonist formula.

I have literally read nothing about this anime. Don’t know what it’s about, where it takes place, who the main character is… All I know is I flipped when I saw the art style and knew I had to see it. Don’t care what it’s about. The premise could be about the worse game of hid-and-seek ever and you know what? I would still watch it. Just because I’d be mesmerized by the aesthetic.
