This top portion will always say the same thing. The Quick Update section is what’s really being updated with new content.

This is my way of keeping myself organized. I’ll be limiting myself to 5 anime at a time. I can’t start a new one until I’ve finished at least one of the five on this ever changing list. When I finish one I’ll make a post about it, though depending on how long the series is, I might make a post in the middle of the series.

I’ll be keeping track of each anime and the episode I’m on both on this blog and on MyAnimeList (MAL). Below, there’s a link to MAL so you can look at all the things I’m currently watching, have watched, plan on watching and how I ranked each anime.

I don’t want to watch only recent series, so at least one or two of these entries will be about some throwback series. The rest will  be relatively recent (let’s say released in the last 3 years).

WARNING: Due to the content of some of the anime I am currently watching, this post might not be suitable for all ages. If you continue to read on, you are doing so at the risk of tainting your mind (which, once again, is not my fault).

I watched a few more episodes, but you know the drill; I didn’t get through as much as I wanted, of course, and now I have until my next post in two weeks (Feb 6th) to finish the rest of this stuff, or else I can’t move on to different anime. In theory it shouldn’t be too hard, but life happens and you lose track of time. We all do it, so keep letting it slide for just a little bit longer. I’m trying to figure out the most efficient way to write these posts and I’m almost positive that my current method is what’s making me really slow at watching. I start an anime and when I think of something relevant, I pause the anime to type out my  thoughts before starting it up again. I should probably just watch until the end of the episode and then write out my thoughts. I think I’m just writing a summary and that’s no fun. Don’t worry, I’ll find a method that works best (and, of course, if you can think of a better way… I’m all ears).

I’ll finally post another review this week. It’s not the Haikyuu one, it’s Boku no Hero Academia! Yay! Enjoy… writing this stuff takes so much time…

We started off with a yaoi scene… I guess you have to cater to everyone at some point in the series. Was there just too much female action going on? We needed to throw something different into the mix? I’m fine with that. It’s so sad they made this girl ashamed of her BL (boys love) fascination. Don’t be ashamed of it, wear it proudly and make everybody think of you as a weirdo. I was kind of hoping that her skill would be related to her obsession with BL. It wasn’t. Instead, her gimmick was that she leads with her butt. Her butt does all the work. She glides around the little island as her ass takes the form of a wolf or something and it’s able to grab onto other people’s swimsuits. These special powers just keep getting better and better. I wasn’t planning on elaborating more on this episode but… I… I just couldn’t gloss over the very obvious vibrator reference. And then they went in for a close up of the crotch and everything. I think we all would’ve been just fine knowing that Nozomi’s vibrations were turning the other girl on, but nope, they had to take it one step further.

Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash

Even though Haruhiro and Yume aren’t in relationship now, I think that it could still become a thing later. Although, they could still cheap out on us and make it mini harem with Haruhiro, leaving the other two guys with no one. Like Mary seems like the type of character who could only become close with one male character and then that person would become her love interest. The only person I see that’s showing even a little bit of interest in keeping in the group is Haruhiro. She could be the first person to join his harem. She’ll be a tough one to crack though. I’d predicted that she might’ve had a past that made her distant and I was completely right. There’s always a sad reason characters like her act the way they do. I know it wouldn’t fit the tone of the story at all but maybe her backstory instead could be that she was very annoyed with the overly friendly persona everybody in her old guild put on and so she wouldn’t have to deal with that she decided to never really interact with any guild she became a part of… That would be a very stupid idea actually, never mind.

I still haven’t quite figured out why there’s a stigma against the drifters besides the fact that they dress strange and might speak a different language. Actually, now that I think about it, there have been wars started for lesser reasons. Still trying to figure out how this world functions. Right now, there’s a lot of clashing groups of characters. We have magicians, old World War II-looking fighter jets, samurai, Roman Empire leaders, other random people. I’m just getting more and more lost with this series. Is this where everybody goes when they die? Could be like limbo? It is only a place for legendary people? I don’t see regular old dead people coming into the story. Somebody needs to explain!
